Are you sure you do not need E35NCD16 ? (the E indicates consumable electrode remelt, and is usually required for this steel). Do not know of any suppliers in USA, Aubert & Duval (Aubertduval.fr) are the main French specialists for this grade.

Timken Latrobe in the U.S. produces this alloy by their trademarked VAC-ARC process, which means that the steel is produced in an electric arc furnace, goes through an AOD (Argon Oxygen Decarburization), and then this air-melted electrode is further processed by Vacuum Arc Remelting (VAR) into an ingot. You can obtain more information on this grade using the following link:

In Europe, there are a number of producers of this grade, including Corus, Ascometal, Krupp, Saarstahl, and Sidenor. I believe that Corus is the only one of the above named mills that produces this grade by a consumable electrode method-- VAR, similar to Timken Latrobe. Allvac, Electralloy, and Carpenter all have remelting capabilities, but none of them list this as a standard grade.

If you require only a small amount, then you should be able to obtain it from Timken Latrobe's steel distribution site:
