Hello,

I am new to vibration analysis. After reading the latest "Design Guide 11: Vibrations of Steel-Framed Structural Systems Due to Human Activity (Second Edition)", it calculates FRF (Frequency Response Function) using a commercial software.

I wonder how I can calculate the FRF using STAAD.PRO.

I was able to get the modal frequencies and the mass participation factors but I don't know how to convert this to FRF.

If STAAD.PRO cannot calculate this, I would appreciate it if you can help me to convert the modal frequencies and the mass participation factors to FRF.
Below is the output of staad

Thank you in advance.

The FRF requires a steady state dynamic analysis to determine; a unit sinusoidal load applied to the structure. If you have the ability to do dynamic loads you can figure it out, otherwise I am not sure how you can do it.
