Hi everyone,
I need some data (preferably back up with literature) regarding the friction coefficient (static and kinetic) between track tensioner / hang-off clamp and PP / PE coated pipeline during reel lay.

I would appreciate with the memebers could help me on this.

Regards,
Dian

I would suggest that you contact coating suppliers
I believe that poeple like
- Bredero Price (or) SocoRil / Socotherm
have performed some test for various clients
Alternatively you should contact equipment manufacturer such as WestTech Gear US, Hydralift or Huisman Holland
who may give you clues.
Final alternative prepare a qualification testing campaign
There are not that many poeple in the reellay - are you actually with one of those contractors (Technip, Subsea7 ... other...?)
