I was fidling with this in simulation, but as far as i can see you cannot set it to a specific value, correct?

It's either µ0 or µ1? Sliding vs bonded?

Thanks a bunch! [cheers]

p.s. is it also correct that a real life value of µ does not necessarily corresponds to the µ that should be udes in a simulation?

Sounds like you are referring to FEA rather than Dynamic Simulation.
In Dynamic Simulation you can set the friction value (for appropriate joints).
What book are you using to learn DS?

Rollupswx, I'm used to working with Cosmos and not so much with Inventor Simulation(FEM).

Except for the wiki-pages i cannot find much reference material for inventor simulation.
