Hey, I am modeling a part of a machine in ANSYS with the application focused on precision mechanics. The goal of the analyses is to observe the Z-displacement under a fixed displacement in the x-direction. This movement induces a resulting force, denoted as F. The applied displacement in the X-direction is fixed at around 3mm, while the displacement in the Z-direction will be in micrometer. the part moves over xy planes frictionless.

The attached picture represents a simplified model, but the real model in ANSYS is fully constrained. The current issue I am facing arises when I support the part with a spring along the Z-direction, as the results are out of range and seemingly impossible. I suspect the problem lies in the significant difference in lateral displacement Ux of the spring and its working distance Uz. Is there someone who can help me identify where the simulation is going wrong or suggest better approaches for this type of simulation than using springs?
