From *.inp file to *.cae file

Dear all,

I write an input file in abaqus and I made it run. Everything is fine but now I would like to access to the cae preprocessing in order to modify somthing like adding a load withour writing it on the input file again. I try to save the odb file as cae file but still I should redefine all the part, the mesh and everything again.

Is it possible in someway to pass from the input file to the cae file in order to modify it on the abaqus preprocessor?

You can import the .inp file into CAE - see section 10.8 of the CAE User's Manual.
