From yagi to x - element or is it unix antenna

My project is develop from ordinary UHF-yagi-antenna to yagi-antenna with an x-elements( or is it unix antenna).Goal of this project is better gain and bandwidth.
My problem is that I can' t find any material how to calculate element spacing and lengths and the other parameters that I have to know. If you have good tips or material you can send it to me. Thanks.
