We're looking at a project involving some large (350 hp) slurry pumps, which will be belt driven.

Does anyone out there have any experience with FRP belt guards for large pumps such as this? Pump manufacturer isn't sure where to source them, and I'd rather work with a 'standard' off the shelf unit, as opposed to having them custom designed and built each time. If anyone knows who makes such a thing, I'd appreciate the info. Preferably North American based, if that makes a difference.

Where on this planet can you get "off-the-shelf" belt guards to suit an application such as this?

The combination and permutations of belt sizes, widths, centre/centre distances etc are enormous. These would be custom built for each pump/motor/speed combination.
