Ok, here is the deal. When i go and create a front view for FTA it aligns the axis of the view plane with the global axis system, but I am working on a local axis and would like to have the axis of the view aligned with the local instead of the global. Is there anyway to do this? I am asking because I need the annotation aligned with the part, and when you are creating the linear dimension they are aligned to the global axis. I know alot of adjustmenst can be made to line them up right, but I was wondering if there was a faster way.

If I'm not misstaken you can orient the plane when you are creating it but when it's set I don't know of a way to realign it.

As the prompting message states; after you click on the Front View icon, just select the local axis.

This will orient the FTA View plane in the XY plane, and most text will written in the X-direction.

If that's not the orientation you want, just make a new axis system and use it to define your FTA View plane
