Does anyone know where I can get fuel properties for diesel fuel number 2?

I'm trying to model a valve in Floworks and need the density, dynamic viscosity, specific heat (Cp), and thermal conductivity.

Thanks,
Dummi

Diesel 2
A general-purpose, middle distillate fuel for use in diesel engines, especially in applications with relatively high loads and uniform speeds.

SG = .813
API = 42.4
Flash = 58.3 ºC
Cloud Point = -47ºC
Pour Point = -51ºC
cSt = 1.9 min to 4.1 max @ 40ºC

Thermophysical properties may vary a bit with chemical composition and distillation range. The thermal conductivity, k, and the specific heat, [σ], are both affected by temperature and polarity of the molecules.

You may add to the list brought by BigInch, a thermal conductivity, k, of about 0.14 W/(m.K).

This item can be roughly estimated using an empirical formula such as:

k = 0.1172(1-0.00054 t)/[ρ]

where t is in oC, and [ρ] is the density at 15oC in kg/L.

The specific heat [σ] at ambient conditions would be about 1.8 kJ/(kg.K).

As an example, Stachowiak and Batchelor (Engineering Tribology, Elsevier) suggest, as a rough approximation for lubes:

[σ] = (1.63 + 0,0034 t)/s2

where s is the specific gravity at 15.6oC
