Full port butterfly valve

It means clear when the terminology "Full port" is used in ball valve. That doesn't have any restriction on port when installed on the pipe. But can anyone please explain me when the term is used in butterfly valve? I think the butterfly valve cannot be full port as it always have a disc with shaft in the middle.

Any of your idea will be highly appreciated.

Full bore / port meaning Valve in which the bore (port) is equal to the bore of the connecting pipe. By that respect, Butterfly valve, Globe valve and Plug valve can be Full bore.
However they do have a restricted flow area e.g. Non-PIG-able, etc.

Some addition, taken from: EN 736-3:2008
full bore valve is valve with a flow section equal to or greater than 80 % of the section corresponding to the nominal inside diameter of the body end port

clearway valve is valve designed to have an unobstructed flow way, which allows for the passage of a theoretical sphere with a diameter that is not less than the nominal inside diameter of the body end port
