Hi, I’m wondering if I need a fuse installed in my setup

I am working on a design for digital signage for retailers (TV:s in stores for advertisement) and am putting together a pretty simple product;
-Monitor (<36 W)
-Monitor PSU (original equipment from supplier) (12V DC, 3 A)
-Media player (12,5W)
-Media player PSU (original equipment from supplier) (12V DC, 1,5 A)
-Casings, electrical terminals etc

The product will however be sold under our brand name, and therefore we need to conduct EMC and LVD (low voltage directive).
According to LVD design guidelines ‘a fuse or another overcurrent device should generally be provided in the primary circuit and should be connected in the hot (live) supply conductor’. Can I expect adequate fuses to be found in both the transformers and eliminating a need of own fuse, or will I need an extra fuse in the AC in?

Yes, the existing fuses will probably protect things from burning down, BUT.

I would include a master circuit breaker.

How are you connecting the various power plugs to power?

Perhaps use a power-strip with a switch cleverly available though your housing for operation. Doing this you can probably avoid any certifications since you are essentially just assembling commercial, already certified items, like anyone else buying A/V equipment and sitting it on a table.
