Fye Value in Eurocode

I am trying to build a building structure model in SAP2000. I am using S275 grade rolled sections.

In materials section there are Fye and Fue values which are described as effective yielding stress and effective tensile stress. These terms are not exactly as the Eurocode equivalents I think. Are these the equivalent of overstrength values fyov which are used in mostly retrofitting purposes.

In most examples I could find coefficients between fy, fu and effective values are taken as 1.1 but another reference states that it is 1.4 which is probably multiplication of 1.1 and 1.25 values in EC1998.

Can you please give me eurocode references for the coefficients. Should I fill this values for basic design?

To my knowledge

For a rolled section Fy and Fu are simply the real fy and fu, Effective values are usually reserved to cold formed materials or thick materials, them being so thin/thick that their yield strengths deserve some more consideration.

Anyway a quick manual verification can help. Find a simple problem solved with a code of your preference, model it and compare design with your manual one.
