Hi,
currently I have been working on my new project (thesis). I have to design shape of high speed train in Catia, then make an aerodynamics research of it. I'm creating the model in GSD because of parameterization. Anyway, I have a little problem with surface connection. I would like, that all surfaces would be connected by curvature. Below as you can see I used the loft surface with two profiles and no any guides. I defined couplings as you see:
To the train-fore i used loft surface too as you see below:
On the following pictures you can see connecting errors in this solution:
Moreover, i would like to change this surface for the body by "thick surface" in Part Design. But it's impossible because of the train-fore and loft operation. I have got error "current offset value lead to a local degeneration on a surface: body cannot be built"
So how can I make better surfaces and connections? Should I use different tools? Every suggestions and opinions are welcome. Thank you.
