Good Morning.
Can dupplex stainless steel Gr.5A and 254SMO(CK3MCuN) be welded in seawater condition?. I think there's no problem with galvanic corrosion, since they have nearly the same corrosion potential, but I need to be sure, if anyone could help.....

Thanks in advance¡¡

With over-alloyed filler the welds should not be worse than either alloy. The alloys are close enough that I would not expect any galvanic issues.

Since you are welding a duplex you should make sure that your weld qualification includes A923 testing. You wouldn't want to be forming detrimental secondary phases in either alloy.
