hi engineers iam new in hvac design and i would to know if we use axial fan to ventilate garage is good or not?
and can i design ventialtion system to garage(car parking)?

Axial fans are fine if you are not dealing with more than about 1" S.P. Past that, look at centrifugals. Axials move large quantities at low pressures.

Pay attention to noise too, as sometimes axials can be loud, if that is a consideration.

Why not look at existing products?

There are plenty of garage ventilation systems on the market. Study them.

Axial Flow Fans are OK, but how about the noise ? That is a serious disadvantage. If the area is not too large, just look at some simple propeller fans (wall mounted) which when located properly will do the job admirably at fairly low noise levels. All would depend upon your layout, area etc. If it is a large area and you are looking at Ducted layouts, go with Cabinet type Centrifugal fans which can be ceiling suspended.

but i want now to design exahust and supply duct for ventilation
first how many speed in main duct after supply fan?
is it may be 1600 fpm or less?
speed on supply grille?
can i handle exhaust air by fan only and fresh air naturally from ramps?
or it must exhaust and fresh air forced by fans??

Then again, you need to study what people have already designed. Identify their weaknesses and deficiencies. Identify what customers want. Then deal with the design.
