Hi

I am designing a trellis structure for the wisteria plants .

1. When Calculating the wind load on Structure I treated Wisteria plants as a hoarding and 0.5m above the trellis top when its gets matured . Regarding the solidity ratio I assumed its 0.7 to calculate net porosity factor . Any idea would be appreciated , is this need to be lower than 0.7. ?

2. This is a steel trellis structure. In this attachment shows two options to make the structure . can anyone please give me an idea which option is best and any ideas for garden trellis for wisteria plants will be appreciated.

Thanks

Maybe in viewing what comes up with a Google search for grape vine arbors will help. Seems to be a similar situation.

Is someone paying to you engineer a garden trellis?
Or is this a personal project?
