GIS power transformers are preferred in areas where it is not possible to accomodate mineral oil transformers (OIL TR). I would like to hear the following from those who have GIS transfomers (GIS TR) in their network.
i.Perormance of GIS TR compared to OIL TR (mainteance, noise level etc.).
ii. Above which capacity heat exchangers are required (such as water etc.) say 60MVA.
iii. We understand Toshiba and AE power system(Japan) are manufacturing this. Is there any other manufacturer?
iv. Disadvantages in GIS TR (such as SF6 impurity, heat dissipation, overloading etc.)
v.Any industrial standard understand some australian standard covering this). Where to getthis standard.
