Hi all,

I have a problem when simulating a rubber gasket between two pipes. I perform the simulation up to the final assembly process (see attached file), but I don't know how to proceede to simulate the fluid internal pressure. Is there any way to simulate the internal pressure?, any function to specificy the node pressure versus contact status?, should I change the model?.

If you have any tip I would apprecitte.
Thanks.

Hi all,

I found a solution for this problem that works fine. Perhaps could be usefull for someone else.

The solution is to use the user-function pr-leak.f or pr-leak2.f. These functions allow to define a pressure boundary condition that will apply only in the faces of the element are not in contact. Perfect to simulate gaskets under pressure.

Bye
