Gear design software 2

Hi,

I sometimes have designs that incorporate simple gear drives i.e. a pair or two standard spur gears.

So that I may perform a quick check on torque capacity etc is there a simple and low cost (or free) software package available? I have seen some that are very specialised but quite expensive and too complicated!

Any suggestions?
