I'm installing a dual idler gear drive and the dual idler assembly has one larger gear and one smaller gear. Does it matter how the idler assy is installed? Large gear on right or left looking from the front.

Test fit the timing cover.

Many timing covers designed for engines with chain drive are symmetrical. If so in your case, look for Pete Jackson's web site and look for fitting instructions.

This probably comes under the heading of required prior effort.
