The best choice between gear motor 5,5kW, 6 poles motor, i= 7.13 and 5,5kW, 4 poles motor, i = 9,9.
4 poles motor is cheaper than 6 poles and reducer prices are equivalent. Motors moment of inertia 4poles/6poles = 0,5. Tn (6 poles)= 45Nm Tn (4poles)= 31Nm.
The load is a roller table and motors are driven by GFS.
Thanks

Hi electrolitic

Which motor is better suited to the load that is being driven.
Will the 4 pole motor provide enough torque to move the load?

Thanks desertfox
Note that i (gear reducer ratio)is diferent 9.9 and 7.13.
So the output torque is almost the same.
Am I right?

Hi electrolitic

6 poles gives 321Nm and 4 pole gives 307Nm but what is the load your driving?
