Hi all. I using Wildfire 20. build m160.
I describe my problem. First, my datum point has all positve value for XYZ, all units are in millimeters. ex. x=5149.00 y=97.7380 z=1158.00. The graphically the coordinate system xyz all point in the positive direction. I use measure distance a lot because I measure from different coordinate systems. I'm designing tail lamps fro cars. Using the measure, distance menu I I select a datum point(first entity), then default coordinate system (second entity) projection reference - I select Coordinate system and select default coordinate and then select cartensian.
These are the result, distance=5278.51 dx=-5149.00 dy=-97.7380 dz=-1158.00
if I measure the mirrored point, it measures positve dy=97.7380.
Has anyone seen this be for?

Everything is relative.....
When you create the measure, select the co-ordinate system as the first entity, and the datum point as the second entity, then all values will be positive.
Select the datum point as the first entity, and the co-ordinate system as the second entity, then all values will be negative.
