Hello gang. It's me Texaspete. Hey sometimes I have questions that I can better explain with pictures. I would like to added pictures to posting within this Pro/E forum. Can someone guide me or tell me the step to adding pictures to a posting. Thanks my Pro/E fans. Any help will be appreciated.

is a quick and easy way to post a picture. Just upload it and copy-paste the link into your post here. I'd recommend just posting the link plus the image size, since some folks have slower connections.

justkeepgiviner, I went to the website and noted that this is a service. Is there a free program that I can download to install on my machine that can resize and reduce the byte size of the file. Then be able to added picture to a forum posting.
thanks for your reply

Ah, I see.

Believe it or not, I use Microsoft Paint quite a lot. It lets me resize images and save them as JPG files. But if I remember correctly, Windows 2000 didn't let me save JPGs with paint.

Picasa is a free program that lets you do some basic image manipulation. It also indexes and organizes all the images on your computer as well.

Another good free image manipulation is GIMP. It can do almost everything Photoshop can do. It takes a while to learn, but compared to Pro/E it's peanuts[smile] It's built on top of the GNU tooklit so you need to download GTK first. All the details are on the website.
