Hi,
I am modelling a steel structure and doing time history analysis with shear walls having fibre hinges. I am getting the following error
"General wall hinges are not modelled in links and will be linear for FNA load cases".
In CSI site, it is stating that " hinges are not active during Fast Nonlinear Analysis (FNA), only during nonlinear static and direct-integration time-history analyses". Source:
But when I model the structure with bracings, FNA worked fine and plastic hinges formed.
Kindly help me in resolving this and I need Hinges to be formed in shear walls during FNA Analysis
