hi
i would like to create sheet metal parameters based on material which can be chosen from table. for each thickness and type of material
i want to assign minimum bend radius and k-factor. catia contains a formula which based on material thickness and bend radius however it's not based on material type.
how this table should look? i cant find any example over the Internet.

Indeed, formula for k factor is = log(min(100,max(20*`Sheet Metal Parameter.1\Bend Radius`,`Sheet Metal Parameter.1\Thickness`)/`Sheet Metal Parameter.1\Thickness`))/log(100)/2

If you want to assign your own Kfactor I believe you need first to delete this formula. Then you can input all the values. Example bellow.

Dim selection5 As Selection
Set selection5 = partDocument1.Selection
selection5.Search "Name=Bend Radius,sel"
Set mySelection5 = selection5.Item(1).Value

MsgBox "Current value is: " & mySelection5.Value

I'm curious about how your table, Google shows me this for example or you can use this
