We are currently experiencing an issue with our gas turbine generator during the start-up process. Specifically, before the turbine reaches the "ready to load" stage, we are encountering a trip caused by a Generator loss of PMG (Permanent Magnet Generator).

This issue is preventing the turbine from reaching operational status, and we would appreciate your assistance in diagnosing and resolving the root cause of this fault. If anyone has insights into potential causes or suggestions for troubleshooting, please share them.

Your prompt support would be greatly appreciated to minimize downtime and restore normal operations.

Shouldn't your supplier be the first source of failure information?

Have you no electricians or electronics technologists under contract or on site to troubleshoot the problem? Were not manuals supplied with the equipment? Is the unit still under warranty?

I would first check for an output from the PMG and verify the wiring to the AVR.
Then check for a faulty AVR.
Verify the wiring from the AVR to the brushless exciter field.
Or.
Call a technician.
