Geometry Import Failed in ANSYS WB 17.2

Good afternoon

In workbench 17.2, when I try to model the structure (simple supported beam), the following error messages appear and the link to Ansys mechanical aborts:

"Unable to attach to geometry file C:\Users\André Luiz\AppData\Local\Temp\WB_TABLET-PC_André Luiz_24816_2\unsaved_project_files\dp0\SYS\DM\SYS.scdoc. Unable to attach geometry."

"PlugIn Error: Attach failed."

"PlugIn Error: Failed to import assembly from SpaceClaim. Erro HRESULT E_FAIL foi retornado de uma chamada para o componente COM."


I´ve tried to solve using Ansys configuration manager, but didn´t succeed.

If anyone has experienced this and know how to solve, I´ll really be thankful.

Are modelling the beam using line bodies? In that case did you assign a cross section in Spaceclaim for the bodies?
