Hi there!

I am wondering what could be a great shape/geometry I could change/add to this stand (circled part)
This stand is meant to fall down on its back but apparently on smooth surface it just slides and does not tip over. What do you guys think? I am wide open to suggestions/idea. Thank you!

That looks like it will hurt anyone not expecting a razor sharp edge on a part that isn't a knife.

Have you considered adding a higher friction material so that it doesn't slide? Little stick-on rubber feet if this item isn't large.

In the fallen position, the center of gravity will be higher than in the normal position.
That means that your device will have to fall up not fall down.
Probably not impossible but a little more difficult.

1) Why do you want a stand to fall down ?

2) I don't think we're seeing all of the stand ? nor the surface it "sits" on.

It would have been good to display the entire item and the "before" version.

That sharp edge could catch someone off guard, especially if they’re not expecting it on a non-knife item. Have you thought about adding a higher-friction material to prevent it from sliding? Small stick-on rubber feet might work well if the item isn’t too large.
