I am working with Ideas 9 and am trying to print a drawing. Just today I came across this geomod.exe error. The error comes up everytime I use file, print. I think it has something to do with the memory allocation of Ideas as I had to adjust this setting last week because of a highly complex solution set.
I set all of the parameters back to their original settings but it is still not working. I could have missed something or put a space in the incorrect location in the parameter file but this seems to be highly unlikely.
If anyone has an idea It would be greatly apprecitaed as I have a deadline TODAY. Thanks.

sure. what I was trying to do was use the windows printing setup instead of I-deas crappy one. In order to do that I had to find the one box in the entire program that gives you that option. I never had to change this before so I was out of the loop on this one.
If you go to the Icon panel preferences form in I-deas, in the preferences menu, the last option is a windows print box.
As for the parameter setting I had to go into the windows system properties box, under advanced there is a performance Options box. Inside this you can change the Virtual memory allocated to applications and performance. If you set the application VM real high you should be able to solve most problems. As this also allocates more memory to even the Ideas Autosetting function.

Thanks. I tried to give you a star for the response, but kept getting an error. Will try again later.
