What type of lab furniture I need for a geotechnical laboratory?

Recommended for you

Used office chairs (five wheel and adjustable), custom built horizontal shelving and work benches (2"x4" frames with 1" plywood, laminate vaneer), wide aisles and many 36"x 60" tables.

And don't forget the "LAZY BOY", table for the cigar and a floor lamp - you need a place for contemplation!! [wink]

sorry, but i don't smoke :p, but surely there will be a this kind of place

card table, minifridge, at least 3 lockable construction site type toolboxes, and a sturdy lockable closet area.

Don't forget a CD player or stereo. You need some music to keep you going during the proctor mold compactions and through those long consolidation tests. I'm sure BigH would recommend a turntable for some jazz on vinyl. (grin)

Hey guys, help him huh?

Remember to separate dirty work from clean work. A big exhaust fan is quite handy at times.

Going from the lab to the office, have a shoe brush and a carpet to collect some of it. Oh yes, a push broom and dust pan.

Slop sink.
