I have been trying to get a hatch that is dot's I have modified my one to be dots with a radius of 0,2mm but when I print it out the dots becomes lines instead

I have tried 10 different combinations but I can't get it right. When I do a wider dot (1mm) it almost look like a dot but its a bit of a "line" still..

I need small dots for hatching what can i do to resolve this..
It looks fine in the computer but when i make a .pdf out of it the dots becomes lines instead.

Please help me

regards anders

In draft :
Format > Style > Style Type > Hatch
Then in 'Styles' box select Normal.
Now click 'New'. You will get a new form appear for creating your new style.
Enter a name for your new hatch Style eg. 'Dots'
Then on the Properties tab set the line thickness and spacing.
On the Pattern tab set the Type to 'dot'.
You can use the other settings here to modify the spacing etc. if required.
Then OK.
Now on the Style form select Style Type to 'Fill' and Style box to Normal.
Now click 'New' and on the next form give your fill style a name eg. 'Dotted'.
Now in 'Hatch Pattern' select the one you previously created.
Then Ok.
Then Close.
Now when you want to hatch an area select the style you have just created.

Hi Anders,
One other thing on this - do you create your pdf's using a 'printer' ?
If so there may be a setting on the print dialog to 'scale linetypes' - try it with this option checked.
I use it when printing larger drawings at A3 size.
It ensures that your linestyles and hatch spacings are scaled down in the same proportion as the rest of the drawing.
