Hi All,

I'm just getting started with PIPESIM software. While building a basic well model, while entering the inputs, I'm getting to see flow paths (green arrows) both upwards and downwards, even after adding a packer. So, I checked the error messages I'm getting and I noticed one specific error "Tubing string is longer than casing string". So, I randomly tried reducing the length by entering "To MD" value of Tubing a few metres shallower than that of casing, and then, I'm getting "Well is not solvable. No valid flow path can be found". What's wrong with my inputs. Can someone pls help me.

Thanks in advance.

Entering random inputs never seems to result in coherent output. Something to do with "garbage in = garbage out".

Training

Einstein gave the same test to students every year. When asked why he would do something like that, "Because the answers had changed."
