Hello,

I hope someone here uses GMPDL.
I am having errors on using Checkmate.
The file is OK when checked on a different machine.
But on my machine, it gives an error on everything.
This just started to happen about a week ago.
Before that, one of our machines had the same problem.
Now both of our machines has the problem.

So what I did is download the required files to reinstall the GM Toolkit. But it did not solve the errors.

Anyone have any idea on how to fix it?

TIA!

Are these on the same O/S? I noticed that the windows from the computer that isn't giving you any issues looks completely different than the windows on the first page, graphically.....the one without problems looks more XP-ish. What is different between the 2 computers? That's about the only thing that I could gather from the information you provided. I would also double check all the required files to make SURE they are EXACTLY the same.

If all else fails and you're a GM supplier you can try the GEES Global Service Desk: 1-888-238-1119, or send an email to geescallcenter@eds.com.

Hello,

They are both using Windows XP.
I just have the fancy stuff turned off.

The install is now different. The one that is working is using the older 4.2 toolkit.

I am currently using the 5.2 toolkit.

We do not want to upgrade the one that is working until we fix the problem we the other two computers.

One thing that you could try to do is remove all the new toolkits and see if you can even get v4.2 to work on one of the 2 machines that are currently NOT working.

If that doesn't work and you are POSITIVE you're using the same setup (.def, .dat, and all the files that configure the toolkit are IDENTICAL....open them and compare side by side, don't just look at the file names), then I'd call GEES at the number above.

If none of that works, then maybe the upcoming Blockpoint that's moving from 5.2 to 5.4 on 06DEC08 will fix the issue you're having. See the first clip I posted straight from GM's supplier website (gmsupplypower.com) in this thread:
