Can some one tell me what is the going rate for 3000 psi concrete per cubic yard in North East (Western New York) for cold weather concreting (may need upto 150 cu. yard)? With type iii cement (w/c ratio 0.50 - 0.55, mixed with heated water, 5 - 7% Air content, and super plasticizer).
Also, what is the going rate for placing such a concrete
in footer (36"x12") and basement wall (9'x10")?
Thanks for your help!

Concrete in Conn. is about $90/cyd Hot water adds about $4/cyd. Super P adds about $7. Loads under 3cyds are usually subject to short load charges. If you figure a foreman @450/ day and a laborer at 400/day (ave. union rates around here)and a 10 cyd truck every 20 min.(a little conservative), the cost to pour is $3.50 per cyd. assume 6 hours to pour and 2hours to set up, clean up and finish concrete. Even footings will have a little finishing work as they go along. Don't forget OH & Profit. Use 10% & 10% for budgets. You can call your local redimix plant and they will fax you a rate sheet. Dont depend on rate sheets that you may have even if they appear to be current. Cement is skyrocketing and prices change rapidly, so get current prices.
