Which books would you recommend for getting involved in water distribution system design and/or sewerage design? I have started a new position at my firm and am looking for some background reading.

Thanks,

For Sewer Design:
"Design and Construction of Sanitary and Storm Sewers"; ASCE-Manuals and Reports on Engineering Practice- No 37; Copyright 1969.

For both Water Distribution and Gravity Systems:
"Hydraulic Design Handbook"; Larry W. Mays; McGraw-Hill Handbooks; Copyright 1999.

Try to get an electronic copy of Advanced Water Distributions Modelling and Management. It is published by Haestad Methods in hard back form but they have been giving out free copies of CDs at expos.
