Several years ago I acquired an electromechanical vibrator (structural exciter) at a surplus sale. Unfortunately, it didn't come with any operating instructions or specifications. The nameplate has the following:
Goodmans Vibrators, Ltd.
Pye-Ling, Ltd.
Royston-Herts-England
Model: V507A
S/N: 422

If anyone has any info for the unit please let me know.

Thanks,
Dear Tim,

Re your Vibrator question : I stumbled across your question while searching for information about Goodman Vibrators.
Noting the name 'Ling' in the second line of your Vibrator's label, there is a company called Ling Electronics which makes vibrators. Perhaps they took over Goodmans Vibrators at some stage.
Ling Electronics' Web site is:

Dear Tim,

Further to my earlier message, the model number of your vibrator (Vxxx) looks like the model number series used by Gearing & Watson, who also make vibrators in England. They may have data about it, if they used to be Goodman Vibrators.

Their Web Site is:
