Is anyone familiar with a .gp4 drawing file? Apparently, it is a 'GTX Group IV' or an 'Image Systems Group IV' format. I have a drawing in this format and I can't open it.

I believe this is a CALS1 format that you will have to insert has an image into a blank dwg.
The only way I know of editting such a format is through CadOverlay.
Hope this helps!

Thanks, CADQUEEN, but can this be done with AutoCAD 2000i LT? The 'Insert' pull-down does not have 'Image' as an option. I don't need to edit it, just open it and print it.

No, you are out of luck with LT, it doesn't support images.
If you like you can e-mail me the file and I would be more than happy to make it a tiff or JEPG for you.
Then you can just open and print it through Microsoft Paint.
let me know it will only take me about 3 minutes to do.
