I have an error in my drawings where I have a section view of a large assembly and parts are showing up that shouldn't. The part that is cut is an assembly with a few sub-assemblies. I have included a picture below of a flange and a blind nozzle. The bolts in the flange should not be shown because it is a section view and the section line does not pass through any of the bolts. The same is true of the blind nozzle. This nozzle is on top of the part that was cut but for some reason it show up. I should not be able to see it. The first picture is what the drawing looks like now.
The second picture is an old model that shows what the area should look like.
I have no idea how it happened. I was working on the full assembly and had the drawing open in the background. I made a few changes to the model and then when I looked at the drawing this section view was messed up. What is wrong and what can I do to fix it?

Side note - there are two nozzles that are mirrored about the plane I cut the section view on. The old section view shows the nozzle that is behind the section view plane. The new section view show the nozzle above the section view plane that should be cut off.

If it truly is a graphical error, run the SolidWorks Rx < Diagnostics tool to verify the graphics card & driver are compatible.

Try sectioning the assembly in the same location and see if you see the same thing.

Also you might have had some files hidden before. Try Right clicking and going to properties and the Hide\Show components tab you can select files to hide or show.

Muttzy,

Check your section scope. That would cause your fasteners to be visible.
