Can you recommend any reliable gray iron foundries in the US? preferably in the Northeast?

When you seek a foundry, look for their strengths or capabilities. Define your technical requirements, batch size, delivery time and any finishing operations. Most important will be if you have a pattern and core box ready and the foundry can adopt it to their facilities. This will enable you to zero upon a suitable foundry.

You might look at Weatherly Casting and Machine in Weatherly PA which is in Northeast PA near the Pocono's. I can't help with their capabilities but they may fill your needs.
