GRE JOINT INTEGRITY CHECK

hi,
we have two joint of GRE back-filled for access into plant, and we now want to hydro-test the system without exposing these two joints
Is there any way to check the integrity of these two joints.

Not AFAIK.

It's one of the downsides of GRE that other than pressure test the is no real way to do NDT on the joints.

Hydro it and hope it doesn't leak.

IMO, with the Owner's approval, the local excavation can be performed to expose the joints for hydro testing the whole piping.
I thought one purpose of the hydro is to test the piping for the mechanical tightness and integrity.
