Hello,

I am new to the list, managing CAD in
San Diego. Just loaded up AutoCAD 2000
and found that I can not use SHIFT key
to access hot GRIPS or use running OSNAPs.

Has anyone run into this? I have checked
all the settings and everything seems fine.
Could the default Profile cause this? I ran
into this with Rel 14 and the problem disappeared
when the Profile was changed.

Any Clue?

I have zero time to figure this out so any
help would be very appreciated..

Right click in the command line and go to options.
Int the box that pops up go to User Preferences.
In there is a button with 'right click customisation'.
Click on it, and choose what you want to happen when you, er, right click.

Hey.. In case anyone is interested, I found the
answer to the GRIPS problem.

When you load AutoCAD 2000, the default setting for
GRIPS selection of multiple GRIPS is to X the
box to select GRIPS within Blocks. Apparently, if
this box isn't checked, you can not select *ANY*
multiple GRIPS using the SHIFT key.
To access this: Tools>Options>Selections.

The Running OSNAPs problem is unresolved. I have
deployed a workaround. If anyone has the answer to this,
please let me know. Thanks! :)
