In what context is this term "ground piece connection" used?
Are you talking about a grounding strap for a piece of electro-mechanial equipment?
Ray Reynolds "There is no reason anyone would want a computer in their home."
Ken Olson, president, chairman and founder of Digital Equipment Corp., 1977
Have you read faq731-376 to make the best use of Eng-Tips Forums?
Might be the strap.I don't know what the term by itself means.
We delivered some models for probes and the customer wanted ground piece connection to be added to it.
Can u explain more about it/suggest some sites where I can know more.I should model the ground piece connection.
Why don't you ask the customer what and to explain it, because he is the one that is requesting it and I'm sure he knows what he's talking about. If he doesn't then he needs to figure it out. Because it's not our job to figure that out.
Once you get that information then bring it back here and maybe we can help you find some more info.
I agree with Scott. After all, this is a SolidWorks forum not a general engineering design forum. Your customer is the best person to explain what they mean. Sounds like a language issue - do they speak English as a first language? We have similar problems communicating with some of our overseas customers - you need to check with them to make absolutely certain you are both on the same page - do not assume anything!!!
