Can anybody recommend a motor manufacturer that may carry a motor that is Class 1 Div 1 Group C,D and Class 2 Group E in a 5 HP frame? We've already looked at Baldor (a maybe, they may be discontinuing they Group E line in frame sizes that small) Weg (unlikely looking) and Leeson (no-go)?

NVIDIA Quadro FX 4600

Update: Weg is a no-go.

Group E is under Class 2, not Class 1. And, since the Class 1 categories are Div I, the Class 2 categories will likely have to be Div I as well.

I would have thought that the Reliance/Baldor line would have covered this combination right out of their catalog. Surely, they would build it for you. No?

Marathon 184TT series -- has a bunch in stock at WW Grainger.

Good on ya,

We can't guarantee an order before tehy discontinue the line in that HP, and waiting on a custom build puts us too far out of the required ship date if we land the order.

Dave,

We'll have to look into them, I know that name hasn't come up in our search so far, thanks.

If it is Group E is is automatically Division 1. See Section 500.5(C)(1)(3).

This links to the UL Online directory that lists manufacturers of Hazardous Location motors:

Enter PTDR in the UL Category Code.

Several of the "Big Names" have what you are looking for.
