I have a soon to be adandoned 3000 ft long, 14 inch diameter asbestos-cement [AC] or transite water line with about three foot of cover in sandy soils (Florida). It runs under streets and under an apartment complex. When we take it out of service we want to leave it in place, but fill it with flowable fill or grout to prevent collapse. We can locate and access the ends and the middle. We are familiar with the safety precautions about handling of AC pipe. Looking for tips and guidance on the grout and grouting operation.
