GTAC and the Blackberry?

I was just hired by one of my clients as a direct. The one issue is they don't allow ANY kind of contact other than phone or email to the outside world. There is no internet connection. The email is not nor it will ever be setup for newsreading. With these constraints (and it makes things really tough), I will only have phone support for GTAC. I was hoping there might be a way to configure my Blackberry to the GTAC newsgroups as a workaround for the more mundane user issues without having to open an IR for every little issue. I do have the ability to actually browse the website with the phone but since there's no open wifi either, it would be really slow. Any ideas?
