I have been trying to figure out how to timeshift a group of elements based on the timeframe of the milestone. This can be simplified to the case of 3 elements in the standard format:
Task A
Milestone
Task B
Milestone has the predecessor Task A and Task B follows the Milestone. The challenge is with respect the GUI interface on the Gantt Chart, I am wishing to shift the milestone, either forwards or backwards in time, while having Task A and B shift along with it. This is desired because the critial date is the milestone. Typically, I am able to move the Milestone forward and have task B move forward as is appropriate; however, this forms a time gap between Task A and the Milestone (not desireable). If I attempt to move the Milestone backwards in time, I must break the link with Task A and then Task A and the Milestone overlap. I would like to be able to move the milestone and have Task A and B shift to match this change in keeping them in sequence.
Any advice would be appreciated.
