Structural

I teach classes/refreshers to a lot of Engineers on the structural analysis side of things, usually mechanical Engineers who moved from a role that dealt more with other problems than structural. Ocassionally, I have to explain real-life physical conditions that would represent a roller, pin and fixed, while these should be obvious to good engineers, sometimes everyone can use a little refresher. I was thinking about making a pretty inclusive guide to what constitutes each. While not a big deal, I was wondering if anyone knows of any blogs, articles, books, sections of codes that describe these well. I would much rather point someone to something already existing that they can refer to in the future instead of spending hours making a guide myself.

Thanks for any recommendations in advance.
