If I recall correctly I think we were allowed to add the gyp wallboard and the wood sheathing shear values together. Is that system still allowed. In the 2008 SDPWS I see that there is a table for wood over gyp and not sure what the reasoning behind this is. I will see if there is something in the commentary.
