H2 Embrittlement of ASTM 4140/4142 after cad plating? 2

After cad plating stainless steels we normally specify a baking procedure to avoid hydrogen embrittlement issues. Do high strength steel materials like 4037/4140/4142/8637/8740 that are cad plated have problems with hydrogen and also need baking?

You must ABSOLUTELY specify hydrogen embrittlement relief for quenched & tempered, martensitic steels like 4037/4140/4142/8637/8740. ASTM B 849, SAE/USCAR-5, and SAE AMS 2759/9 are all suitable standards to reference for the requirements of time and temperature depending on the strength/hardness of the parts.

We are a spare parts manufacturing facility in the Philippines.At present we are developing a product which requires corrosion tests like
1)plating thickness,2)corrosion resistance,3)embrittlement and 4)plating adhesion test.The tests should be conducted by an external facility.We were able to have the first two tests performed at a government testing facility.However,we are having problems with the other two(embrittlemnt and plating adhesion)since we cannot find a facilty here in the Phils. who will perform such tests.
Can I have an info on external facilities who conduct such tests for other companies?Preferrably,the facility is located within Southeast Asia.
